Switch Is The Perfect Receptionist Alternative

Switch is a business-grade phone system built for Google Apps users and its now out of beta and available to the public.

So how does it work? Switch is connected to your main lines and also to your mobile, laptop, other devices and everyone else in your department. When a call comes through to say your laptop, you can answer it straight from your screen. Your contact comes up, your call history, their LinkedIn profile, recent Gmail correspondence, shared documents and even SMS history- all handy if you're recapping or pitching over the phone.

If you need to leave your desk or the office without wanting to hang up the call, you can simply switch to your mobile. Switch basically makes comms more fluid especially for sales teams and smaller companies that don't have a switchboard or receptionist.
