Shore Shots Irish Surf Film Festival is a celebration of cold water surfing in Ireland. Now in it's third year I'm told the festival is due to sell out again!
The main aim of the festival is to bring together artists, photographers, surfers and videographers from around Ireland under one roof. This bunch of eclectic artists showcase the incredible talent, work and dedication that the surf community of Ireland have to offer.
Over the course of the two days the festival brings the best of Irish surfing to the big screen. The event has now become one of the biggest events in the surfing calendar and already this year is looking to be bigger and better. The guys get quite a lot of media attention in the surfing world with MagicSeaweed, Carve magazine and Epic TV already on board.
They are working with a number of sponsors including Monster Energy, Teeling Whiskey and a couple of other Irish brands that have yet to be announced. The event runs on a Saturday and Sunday with an after-party on the Saturday night which is usually a mad one!
The festival takes place in The Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin from April 11-12 2015. Tickets go on sale soon - keep an eye on their Twitter account for updates.
