Son of a nutcracker! The cast of Elf are reuniting for a special table read and we feel more festive already.
Knowing that we all could do with a few more reasons to smile (we just like to smile... smiling's our favourite), the cast of Elf have confirmed that they'll reunite for a special one-off table read this festive season.
Several of the original cast members have signed on for the meet-up including Buddy the elf himself - also known as Will Ferrell. He'll be joined by fellow co-stars Zooey Deschanel, Bob Newhart, Edward Asner, Mary Steenburgen, Amy Sedaris, Andy Richter, Kyle Gass, Matt Walsh and Jon Favreau... along with a few other well-known faces too.

Using the occasion to fundraise for the Georgia Democratic Party, monies raised will go to supporting the democrats in the upcoming Senate runoffs.
Taking place this weekend, the event will be available to watch via live stream with things kicking off at 9pm Irish time on Sunday, December 13th.
Singing loud for all to hear may be the best way to spread Christmas cheer, but an Elf cast reunion? Definitely a close second.
