There are some very, VERY good movies on the telly tonight...

Some comedies. Some adventures. Some action. All depends what you're in the mood for.

Coming To America - Comedy Central - 9pm

Eddie Murphy is the rich prince of the African nation of Zamunda, but before he is to be crowned king, he heads to America to sow some of his royal oats.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - FilmFour - 9pm

The third outing for Indy sees Harrison Ford paired up with his dad, played by none other than Sean Connery, as they head off in search of the Holy Grail itself.

Pitch Perfect 2 - RTE Two - 9.35pm

The comedy sequel finds the Bellas attempt to regain their reputation following a disastrous performance. And the only way to do that is the head into an international competition and take on some of the best acapella groups in the world.

The Dark Knight - Sky Showcase (Sky One) - 9.45pm

Arguably the greatest comic book movie ever made, Christian Bale returns as Batman, this time taking on his most infamous foe, the Joker, here played by an Oscar-winning Heath Ledger.

The Matrix Reloaded - ITV4 - 10pm

The often under-appreciated sci-fi sequel is definitely worth a watch before the fourth movie in the series arrives in cinemas this December.

Assassin’s Creed - FilmFour - 11.35pm

They definitely tried to do this video game adaptation some justice, with a great cast (Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson) and a decent budget. READ NEXT: Hands on with the OPPO Find X3 Pro
