Six of the best movies on TV for your Monday night in

The week of Christmas and not a Christmas movie to be found on the telly tonight...

For the first evening of the new restrictions, chances are you'll be sitting in and looking for something to watch. If you're all Christmas movie'd out, then we've got some good news for you, cos it is all non-Xmas movies on the box tonight, starting with... Rocky - ITV4 - 9pm

A small-time Philadelphia boxer (Sylvester Stallone) gets a supremely rare chance to fight the world heavyweight champion in a bout in which he strives to go the distance for his self-respect.

The Spy Who Dumped Me - FilmFour - 9pm

Audrey (Mila Kunis) and Morgan (Kate McKinnon) are best friends who unwittingly become entangled in an international conspiracy when one of the women discovers the boyfriend who dumped her was actually a spy.

Bad Teacher - E! Entertainment - 9pm

A lazy, incompetent middle school teacher (Cameron Diaz) who hates her job, her students, and her co-workers is forced to return to teaching to make enough money for breast implants after her wealthy fiancé dumps her.

Pulp Fiction - TG4 - 9.30pm

The lives of two mob hitmen (John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson), a boxer (Bruce Willis), a gangster (Ving Rhames) and his wife (Uma Thurman), and a pair of diner bandits (Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer) intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption.

RED - FilmFour - 11.15pm

When his peaceful life is threatened by a high-tech assassin, former black-ops agent Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) reassembles his old team (including Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren and John Malkovich) in a last-ditch effort to survive and uncover his assailants.

King of Thieves - BBC One - 11.20pm

A true crime movie about a crew of retired crooks (including Michael Caine, Ray Winstone, Jim Broadbent and Michael Gambon) who pull off a major heist in London's jewellery district. What starts off as their last criminal hurrah, quickly turns into a brutal nightmare due to greed.
