Prepare to step back in time as RTÉ has begun releasing some vintage footage of news broadcasts from days gone by.
Over 9,000 hours of footage from 1985-1999 will be released to the public daily with a new year becoming available each day.
Yesterday, 1985 was released and the archives contain some gems from Des Cahill checking out the new the new transatlantic Aer Lingus flights to a visit from the Japanese Royal Family.
