RTÉ Is Showing An “Uproarious” And “Delightful” Coen Brothers Comedy Tonight

Fans of the Coen Brothers will know that most of the pair's movies are laced with a decent amount of offbeat and even dark humour but it's not often that they produce full-on comedies.

2016's Hail Caesar! is one exception and features and all-star cast which includes George Clooney, Josh Brolin, Ralph Feinnes, Scarlett Johansson and Jonah Hill among numerous others.

The movie is intended as a spoof of 1950s Hollywood and drew critical acclaim upon its release with Richard Brody of The New Yorker calling it a "scintillating and uproarious comedy" while critic Richard Roeper said it was a "fun, charming and oft-hilarious take on Hollywood's Golden Age."
