PIC: Netflix Shares First Look Of Tobias Menzies As Prince Philip In The New Series Of The Crown

The Crown is easily one of the best shows Netflix has produced, so it's no wonder that many fans are really looking forward to seeing what's in store for the characters in season three.

The show's producers have decided to age the actors as the characters age, so fan favourites Claire Foy and Matt Smith are being replaced with older counterparts.

So far, the recasting has been a massive hit with Olivia Colman taking on the lead role of Queen Elizabeth and Helen Bonham Carter taking over from Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret.

Today, Netflix has announced that Tobias Menzies will take over the character of Prince Philip.

Matt Smith as Prince Philip went down a storm with fans and critics alike, so the recast has been eagerly awaited.
