'Self-isolation help' is the only hashtag you need to follow on Twitter if you're looking for some feel-good news amidst the chaos.
People around the country have been showing that despite how it may seem, it's not
all doom and gloom. Rallying together, they've made us see the good side of humanity, volunteering their services to anyone who may need help during the next few days and weeks.
Thousands of people have taken to Twitter, using the hashtag #selfisolationhelp (self-isolation help) to offer their assistance.
Good deeds under the umbrella initiative include everything from dropping off groceries to picking up pharmacy supplies to sharing advice and tips on how to stay safe.
And it's a welcome change from the otherwise overwhelmingly negative noise.

This comes after a
number of businesses across Ireland have done the same - promising to do their utmost to ensure that the most vulnerable members of our communities aren't forgotten.
The movement has encouraged people to take action in their own localities, setting up dedicated Facebook pages and WhatsApp groups for people to get involved in a positive way.
