A new episode of the uber-popular docu-series
Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness dropped on Netflix last night. Entitled The Tiger King and I, the new after-show special took the form of a Q&A hosted by American comedian Joel McHale.
Rumours began swirling of an eighth additional episode, just over a week ago when it was revealed that production was underway to rush out a follow-up to the series. However, many fans were less than satisfied with the outcome, saying that they would have preferred to wait for something of substance instead.
A number of ex-GW Zoo staff made an appearance on the 40-minute reunion special, including Jeff and Lauren Lowe, Saff, John Reinke, Joshua Dial, Erik Cowie, Rick Kirkman and John Finlay - the common thread being, to put it lightly, their dislike of Joe Exotic.
Telling fans that the new episode would be "eye-opening and hopefully funny", fans don't seem to think that it was either. Here's a taste of what Twitter had to say on the matter.

The
Tiger King himself, Joe Exotic, was noticeably missing as was his arch-nemesis Carole Baskin. Investigation Discovery has confirmed that a spin-off documentary is in the works - one that will feature
both of the star players of the original series (namely Joe and Carole) so it looks like we'll have to wait until that airs to get more from them.
