Everyone’s favourite Bray musician has found himself in the Spotify Billions Club

There's no doubt about it, Hozier is a national treasure. 

Like the Cliffs of Moher or the Book of Kells, Irish people beam with pride when Hozier's name is mentioned, as he's a testament to the fact that we're sound, talented and good craic. https://www.instagram.com/p/CQGcuM-M8qG/ And it looks like we're not the only ones who can't get enough of him, as his breakout hit Take me to Church (or Take me to THE Church as Tommy Tiernan likes to call it) has been added to the elite Spotify Billions club. This playlist, as the name suggests, is made up of every song that's gained a billion streams on Spotify and is full of bangers from Dua Lipa, Cardi B, Billie Eilish and of course our boy Hozey. Hozier's 1.5 billion streams will have earned him a serious chunk of change but you won't see it going to his head, he's as chilled out as ever. You'll probably still find him reconnecting with nature in a Wicklow forest or laughing his way through an interview while a cute dog licks his face. He'll continue being the hero we need, and we'll continue to claim he was in the same class as our cousins best friend and that he said hi to us once at a 21st on Bray seafront. Congrats, mate.
