And his legend status was extended even more when Ireland's ladies team gave Northern Ireland a hammering in their World Cup Qualifier.
They beat their northern counterparts by 4-0 and Michael D was the first person on hand to congratulate them.
And sure wasn't he only too happy to hop in a photo too.
