The Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey has done it again.

Mariah Carey has already broken three Guinness World Records this festive season and it’s not even December yet. https://twitter.com/GWR/status/1199385579277955073 Honouring the star for her hit All I Want For Christmas, Carey was joined onstage by a committee representative during her show at The Colosseum in Las Vegas. Amongst the accolades awarded were highest-charting holiday (Christmas/New Year) song on the US Hot 100 chart by a solo artist, most-streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours (female) and most weeks in the UK singles top 10 charts for a Christmas song. First released back in 1994, the now 25-year-old track tucked 10,819,009 streams under its belt last December alone. Considering that the iconic tune has come to be synonymous with Christmas, it’s not really all that surprising though is it? Celebrating the win with a post to her Instagram account, the songstress captioned the pic: “Thank you so much Guinness World Records for honouring me with three records in the 2020 book!” https://www.instagram.com/p/B5TRnaHgQwe/ Already the record holder for the most US No. 1 singles by a solo artist, her trifecta of achievements will be recorded in next year’s edition of the book.
