Not only are the Irish women's hockey team among the best in the world at their sport, they're not bad at the old celebrating either. Who could forget
this performance after they finished second in the World Cup last year?
The girls were back at it on Sunday night after their epic penalty shuttles victory over Canada in Donnybrook, which clinched qualification for the Tokyo Olympics next summer. Roared on by Ireland's biggest ever crowd for a women's international team sport match, as well as a 379,000 peak audience watching on TV, the girls in green got through a nail-biting finish before celebrating with their customary sing-song.

High that got the Irish hockey treatment, as the girls belted out the famous lyrics "we are gonna be
Forever, you and me," etc, you know the rest.
The rendition was captured by BBC Northern Ireland and was given the nod of approval by the Lighthouse Family themselves, Tunde Baiyewu and Paul Tucker. The duo's Twitter account reshared the vid along with the caption '
Flying high. We are loving this. Well done ladies! Good luck in Tokyo!"

The girls are probably still celebrating and this is sure to give them an extra boost before they fly off to Japan. With the Lighthouse Family
coming to play at the Olympia Theatre in February, surely a meet-up can be arranged?
Fingers crossed we can look forward to plenty more stellar performances on and off the pitch in Tokyo.
