The Garda Síochána aren't usually our first port of call when we're looking for tips for the horses.
Sure, they're usually a safe bet when it comes to fighting crime and maintaining public order but we don't tend to seek them out when we're trying to pick a winner for the 5.20 at Galway.
That hasn't stopped them taking to Twitter today to offer the public some tips of an unusual nature.
Do ya see what they did there? In all seriousness, we'd like to reiterate the underlying message to stay safe on our roads to all heading to Galway this week or indeed anywhere during the upcoming Bank Holiday Weekend.
