Kiefer Sutherland made a guest appearance on last week’s Late Late Show.
Calling in to chat to Ryan Tubridy, he told a
rather memorable story about a night out involving Sinead O’Connor, Van Morrison, Ronnie Wood and Shane Macgowan.
And it was wild, to say the least.
From brawling with the Pogues frontman on the floor to later becoming unlikely friends, the whole thing was a bit bizarre.
Turns out we’re not the only ones to think so either as Mrs Shane Magowan, Victoria Mary Clarke, took to Twitter to express her surprise.
Reacting to Kiefer’s anecdote she said “this is absolutely not a true story! It was our friend Rick Trevan who slept in Kiefer’s room.
Shane has never folded anything in his life!!!! Great story though”.

This seems to be a case of ‘he said, she said’, so maybe we’ll never know the full story. But seeing the alleged note would definitely help clear things up a bit.
