Like many people in Ireland, Gardaí in the Cork, Kerry and Limerick region must have been fairly big fans of
The Simpsons growing up.
They came across some interesting graffiti over the weekend on a road sign which appeared to feature silhouettes of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie travelling in a car.
Of course, the reference is a nod to Springfield's hapless Chief Wiggum and his sidekicks Lou and Eddie and the clip in question can be seen below:
We all appreciate a good Simpsons reference from time to time so hats off the Guards on this one.
