It had been a quiet couple of weeks, sucking us into a false sense of security here in Ireland. 

This morning, though, Ireland has been taking a batter from the latest storm to sweep in over the Atlantic (this is the tail-end of the snow that hit the East Coast of America at the weekend).

You have to feel for the poor folks who left their cars there. They might be gone by now...
