Forget All That Boring Work Stuff – Slack Can Now Be Used To Order Tacos

If you use Slack for work, you'll already know that it has a habit of taking over your entire life.

The messaging app, which has exploded in popularity over the last 18 months, has completely changed the way offices operate – and with desktop, mobile and web apps, it really does feel like you're never fully escaped from its reach.

Now, the invasion goes a step further: you can order tacos using the app.

Yup. Tacos on Slack. The future is here.

Now don't get your hopes up just yet if you're an Irish user – the integration was built by Taco Bell, a US chain (that wouldn't hold a candle to most of our Mexican establishments here in Ireland).

But the 'tacobot' integration is remarkably simple, and it's hard to see why several other foodie operators won't follow suit.
