It's not exactly Coachella but Irish fans of Fontaines D.C. will be delighted with the announcement of two shows here later this year.
Earlier this month, it was
confirmed that the band would be performing at the biggest music festival in the States and just a few weeks later, the lads will take to the stage in Cork and Belfast.
Having met at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in Dublin, the five-piece have enjoyed a meteoric rise since the release of their debut album Dogrel in 2019. The album went on to be named Album of the Year by BBC Radio 6 Music and was nominated for a Mercury Prize.
