Last night, after eight seasons, fans finally said goodbye to Game of Thrones as the final episode aired. Heads up, this article may contain minor spoilers. While emotions are high and fans are left reeling about the popular show coming to an end, some viewers are just pure raging. Some fans have found the whole season to be quite rushed. Viewers immediately took to social media to express their frustration with the ending, with one Twitter user writing, “I’ve wasted 8 years for this ending.” https://twitter.com/LILG96958980/status/1130349137138987008 And their sentiments were echoed by others online… https://twitter.com/Complex/status/1130296980645830658 https://twitter.com/marylocmc/status/1130318866641575937 https://twitter.com/ems_unknown/status/1130315011606192128 https://twitter.com/BabbyGirlBobbie/status/1130351209997578240 https://twitter.com/michaeltreasure/status/1130378028788396038 Meanwhile, some fans simply haven’t processed the ending of the eight-year saga just yet. https://twitter.com/XavierWoodsPhD/status/1130360569440161797 Last week, a Change.org petition calling for the entire eighth season of Game Of Thrones to be re-written reached a whopping one million signatures. The petition, titled ‘Remake Game of Thrones Season 8 with competent writers’ accuses writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss of being “woefully incompetent” and claims that the final season of the show makes no sense. Meanwhile, some fans are also noticing another production error with the latest episode. Eagle-eyed viewers noticed a water bottle in one scene. One fan wrote on Twitter, “First Starbucks now a water bottle. This show is a joke.” https://twitter.com/JonxDanyy/status/1130346578143830016 Apparently, they enjoy Starbucks and bottled water in Westeros as well. Who knew?
