Emily Ratajkowski Has Inspired A Belly Button Plastic Surgery Trend

When you idolise a celebrity, there's a line that you really shouldn't cross when it comes to emulating them — transforming your belly button to look like theirs is placed firmly beyond that line.

Model Emily Ratajkowski, who's just had a surprise wedding in New York City, has a huge following on Instagram of more than 16 million, where she posts a whole lot of very model-y photographs.

With so many pictures featuring her exposed midriff, it seems that Ratajkowski's legions of admirers have become fixated upon possessing her rare variety of navel.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, cosmetic surgeon Dr Matthew Schulman has stated that belly button revision surgeries has doubled in the past five years, with many patients hoping to achieve the same look as Emilia Ratajkowski or Jessica Simpson.

Schulman stated the most sought after belly button now appears to be "an oval that's vertically-oriented because it makes the torso look longer and the abs leaner".
