Today is Dog Friendly Ireland Day, don't ya know?
Dog-related content always goes over well. Any day of the week, any time of the day... doesn't matter, we'll take it. It's hard to be in a bad mood when looking at photos of smiling pups, no matter how angry you are at the world it's a guaranteed way to turn your frown upside down - Irish mammies believe in the healing properties of flat 7up and buttered toast, I believe in the mood-boosting properties of dog pics.
As do Dogs Trust who is asking people to celebrate Dog Friendly Ireland Day by sharing photos of their best boys and girls online. An annual event, ordinarily, the idea is to encourage businesses across Ireland to open their doors to customers and their four-legged friends - however, with most places only preparing to reopen next week, they've changed things up a bit this year, moving the event online.
Dog lovers across the country have happily obliged, posting photos of their beloved pooches on social media and keeping us all very happy in the process. There's little we love more than trawling through endless photos of happy doggos. Keep 'em coming, folks.
