And Colin Farrell, after expressing his love and admiration for co-star Jenny in interviews, acceptance speeches and pretty much any other chance he's gotten has been invited to a Cork-based donkey sanctuary.

Farrell has made no secret of
his feelings for Jenny (and Minnie the horse too), but the donkey community was especially enthused after he ended his Golden Globe acceptance speech with a special tribute to his four-legged co-star last week.
Globe in hand, Farrell joked:
“And lastly Jenny the donkey, who’s having an early retirement because she said ‘F*ck the film business, you’re welcome to it. I’m one and done’”.
Since then, an invitation has been extended for the actor to visit the Donkey Sanctuary in Liscarroll, Cork by sanctuary manager Laura Foster.

Speaking to
The Echo, Laura said:
I wrote to his PR representatives in the US just to say thank you first and foremost for all the wonderful commentary he’s given in interviews around Jenny the donkey and the props that he gave her during his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes and all of that, but also just to say if he was ever back home and fancied visiting us we would love to welcome him down to the Sanctuary.
We’re a humble site, we don’t have red carpet facilities, but we would certainly give him the best possible experience if he were to visit and it would just help us reach so many more people and help us educate more people about donkey welfare off the back of the movie. It would be fantastic.
Laura also mentioned that it's a particularly busy time for the sanctuary who work with a number of neglected donkeys, and extended her thanks to everyone who's supported them so far. You can make a donation or even adopt one of the donkeys
