Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson are set to reunite for a new movie about two friends living on a remote Irish island.
In Bruges pair Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson are set to appear on the big screen together once more after their new collaboration The Banshees of Inisheer was announced yesterday. The Irish duo will team up once again with Martin McDonagh who wrote and directed the 2008 black comedy where Farrell and Gleeson first displayed their natural chemistry.

Deadline who say it will follow 'two lifelong friends who find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly ends their relationship with alarming consequences for both of them.
A reunion of the Farrell, Glesson and McDonagh triumvirate is sure to get movie fans excited and if the new movie earns half the plaudits that In Bruges did, it'll be doing well. Both Farrell and Gleeson were rewarded with Golden Globe nominations for Best Actor for their performances, with the former coming out on top to take home the prize.

McDonagh also received a number of accolades for the movie including an Oscar nod for Best Original Screenplay, which he lost to Dustin Lance Black's work on Milk, starring Sean Penn.
The Banshees of Inisheer is set to begin shooting this summer.
