Twitter users may have noticed that Queen of country music, Dolly Parton is trending on Twitter this evening. Why you may ask? Well, as it turns out the US singer has part-funded research that went towards the Moderna vaccine - a new vaccine seen to show over a 94.5 per cent effectiveness rate against Covid -19.
Confirming that she donated money to the Covid fund because she "just wanted it to do good", Dolly remains hopeful that "we can find a cure real soon".

Bringing to mind an old clip of the singer performing in an old Irish pub, one Twitter user has reminded the internet of Parton's charms, sharing said video online and writing:
"As she's trending, just a video of Dolly Parton being down to earth and magnificent, getting up and singing in Paídí O' Sé's pub when on holiday in Ireland. Queen."

Taking to the stage in a small country pub down in Kerry, Dolly opens by saying that she is here on "vacation" and "had not planned to sing tonight". Talked into by local man Steve Cooney - who accompanies her on guitar - she goes on to perform her song Coat of Many Colours.
