Blue WKD Sorbet Is Now Being Served In This Irish Shop

One innovative little ice cream shop in County Down has just combined two classic flavours of an Irish childhood: sorbet and Blue WKD.

Lick Gelato in Newcastle had been experimenting with a range of "adult" ice cream flavours — such as prosecco with strawberry and Jagermeister with Red Bull — when they conceived of transforming the brightly-coloured alco-pop into a delightful dessert.

Despite its child-friendly appearance you must be over 18 in order to purchase one, with each serving containing about 0.5% volume of alcohol.

According to Cool FM, the demand for the treat has been staggering, making us severely tempted to give it a try.
