Ace Ventura: Pet Detective - Comedy Central - 7.15pm
Some 1990s nostalgia here with Jim Carrey's first outing as the eccentric private detective.
The Accountant - RTE 2 - 9pm
A 2016 thriller starring Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick.
Why Him? - Film4 - 9pm
The old 'meet the parents' format is rolled out again but the A-list pairing of Bryan Cranston and James Franco has enough to make this enjoyable. Zoey Deutch plays the daughter tasked with cooling tensions between her father and her boyfriend.
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit - 9pm
A 2014 thriller starring Chris Pine and Keira Knightley.
The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! - Comedy Central - 9pm
The first movie of the crime comedy franchise and widely regarded as one of the best comedy movies of all time.

A 1992 thriller starring Wesley Snipes.
American Made - Channel 4 - 10.05pm
A 2017 action comedy starring Tom Cruise and our very own Domhnall Gleeson. What more could you want?
The Waterboy - ITV4 - 10.45pm
Adam Sandler comedies are much-maligned but it's hard not to root for Bobby Boucher in this effort from 1998.
Man About Dog - TG4 - 11.05pm
A 2004 Irish comedy centred around the murky world of dog racing.
Escape From Alcatraz - BBC One - Midnight
If you're up late, this 1979 classic starring Clint Eastwood will keep you entertained.
