This is unbelievably slick and solves an age-old problem about projectors, which are completely overpriced and overly bulky. Beam is a mini projector that screws into any lightbulb fitting. The smart projector is also controlled by your smartphone or tablet and works on both Android and iOS.
It can turn any flat surface into a big screen which would be perfect for home and office use. That means streaming Netflix no longer has to sit on your lap - you can create a deadly at-home cinema experience in minutes. The product is currently on the crowd funding site Kickstarter and backers can expect their Beam delivery as soon as March 2015.
