Avril Lavigne has released new music and it’s everything we could have dreamed of

The hold Avril Lavigne had on pre-teen girls in the early 2000s cannot be underestimated. Is there a person among us who didn't insist on wearing their dads tie with a tank top after Let Go was released, or skulk around the local gaa pitch pretending it was a skatepark and that they were in the video for Complicated? I know a girl who got an AVRIL tattoo over the spot where Avril Lavigne signed her arm after a concert. You probably know her too, let's be honest. Ireland's pretty small. Could this mean we're in for a new album? I'll have to root out my cd boombox from the attic if so, it wouldn't be right to listen to this any other way. Accompanying Avril on her latest single is none other than Travis Barker on drums, hot off his engagement to Kourtney. The pair also collaborated on Grow by Willow back in July. It's actually too much punk for one day.
