Ant McPartlin Is Returning To Work With Dec This Week

Ant and Dec will finally be reunited this week after Dec took almost a year away from the public eye to focus on rehab.

Last March, representatives for Ant confirmed that he would be taking time off “for the foreseeable future” to receive treatment for a drink and drug dependency after he was arrested for drink driving.

Ant then pulled out of all his presenting duties including Saturday Night Takeaway and also missed his stint on I’m A Celebrity alongside Declan Donnelly for the first time ever, with Holly Willoughby standing in for him throughout the series.

Ant and Dec will reunite for Britain’s Got Talent auditions this week, which will be taking place at the London Palladium.

The news was confirmed by presenter Richard Arnold on ITV’s Good Morning Britain earlier today.

He told viewers, "I can officially announce that after a year off Ant will start filming on the new series of BGT. Can you believe it has come around again? How the time flies."

Britain's Got Talent features judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon and will air later this year.
