Irish actor Andrew Scott is undergoing minor surgery in hospital, The Old Vic theatre in London has announced.
Andrew Scott's week had gotten off to a great start after he was nominated in the Outstanding Guest Actor in a drama series at the 2020 Primetime Emmys. However, the Fleabag star has now had to reschedule his upcoming performances of new play Three Kings, which were due to be live-streamed from an empty Old Vic auditorium.
The Old Vic posted: 'We are sorry to let you know that Andrew Scott is now in hospital to undergo minor surgery and we therefore need to reschedule this week's performances of Three Kings.'

It is added that 'the issue isn't serious (or COVID-19 related) and we are expecting Andrew to have a speedy recovery. He sends his love and apologies and says he'll see everyone next week.'
The shows were supposed to begin this weekend will now take place on Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8. More information can be found
