If you're still crying over Kim Cattrall's exit from the series, this casting news should cheer you up!
While it's hard to imagine the show without Kim Cattrall as the iconic Samantha Jones, we have received steady updates on what cast members are returning, and what new faces to expect.
Who's coming back
Sarah Jessica Parker returns as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes, and Kristen Davis as Charlotte York Goldenblatt. Each of their spouses, Chris Noth as Mr. Big, David Eigenberg as Steve Brady, and Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt are also returning. Willie Garson and Mario Cantone will return as Stanford Blatch and Anthony Marentino, who we last saw in the second
Sex and the City film getting married.

There's also a few side characters who are reportedly coming back for a few episodes, including John Corbett as Carrie's ex boyfriend Aiden Shaw, Bridget Moynahan as Big's ex wife Natasha Naginsky, and Julie Halston as the loveable Bitsy Von Muffling.

New Characters
With Kim Cattrall leaving a Samantha sized hole in the new series, there was space to add new faces. No one can replace Samantha Jones, but it seems like
And Just Like That aims to cover new stories. Actress Sara Ramirez, best known for her role as Callie Torres on
Grey's Anatomy, is joining the cast as Che Diaz. Ramirez is just one of the many new characters joining the series.

Little Brady who first appeared in the season four finale is all grown up. We can't wait to see how Miranda's relationship with Brady has progressed as he's gotten older. He will be played by Niall Cunningham.

Brady is not the only offspring set to appear. Charlotte and Harry adopted Lily in the series finale of
Sex and the City after several failed rounds of IVF
. In the first movie, Charlotte found herself unexpectedly pregnant, and gave birth to Rose (after famously yelling at Big that she cursed the day he was born). In the second film Charlotte was struggling with motherhood, so we're excited to see how she deals with her teenage daughters.
Cathy Ang is set to play Lily, while Alexa Swinton is set to play Rose.

It still remains unclear what direction the show will take but we can't wait to see how the last eleven years have treated Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte as they now walk around New York as women in their 50s.
