An all-star cast has been confirmed for Riverdance: The Animated Adventure, with some of Ireland's biggest names set to voice characters in the upcoming feature film.

Brendan Gleeson, Aisling Bea and Pierce Brosnan will all be lending their voices to Riverdance: The Animated Adventure, which is expected to be released in 2021. Over a quarter of a century after Riverdance tapped its way into our lives at Dublin's Point Theatre, the film will follow the adventures of Patrick, a Megaloceros Giganteus (extinct Irish Elk), who has some pretty impressive Irish dance moves. Along the way, he meets a young Irish boy named Keegan and his Spanish friend Maya and attempts to teach them the ways of the Riverdance as a celebration of life.
