The Great British Bake Off returned to TV screens last night, kicking off with a highly dramatic and very entertaining season opener. Please be warned, this post contains spoilers. Obviously. The Great British Bake Off is one of the most gloriously wholesome things on TV and if you're not a fan then I'm afraid we can't be friends... sorry to be so blunt about it, but I just don't think we'd have anything in common.
