Finished all your series on Netflix and need something new to watch this evening? Well, we hope you're prepared for a lengthy binge-watching sesh because a new Netflix originals series set 300 years in the future is going to reel you in.
Altered Carbon is set in the future, where people’s consciousnesses are contained in what are called “stacks”, storage devices attached to the back of a person’s neck. Physical bodies are turned into what’s called “sleeves”, mere disposable vessels.
Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman), a violent mercenary, wakes up 300 years after his sleeve is killed, and he’s given the choice to either spend the rest of his life in prison for his crimes, or help solve the murder of the wealthiest man in the world.
