In the run up to the holidays I find myself Googling gadgets a lot, as if in the hope that I'll somehow be able to buy ***all of the things*** online. But I have to say, there really isn't anything better than receiving a gadget from a mate or loved one at Christmas. Believe it or not they're also non perishable and go a lot further than the turkey and mulled wine. Gadgets aren't just for Xmas. So I've scoured the internet and I've found 25 of the best gadgets for techies that have popped up, some affordable, some completely outrageous but do put them firmly into the dream bank for next year and start saving...
If you've an iPhone you should really just ditch your original charger and buy the NomadPlus. All you have to do is plug this into the wall, charge your phone from the USB port (it charges your phone first, then it charges the internal battery). Grab it and go, you have an extra 100% charge! No more whinging.

If you're exceedingly hipster you probably DJ at different PR gigs across the city so you'd probably really appreciate these turn styles in a briefcase by Pyle.

Moleskine is the ultimate nerd notebook and now they have this smart one which when you take photos of your pages links to your smartphone and laptop (technology that follows the distance between the lines).

This is the slickest phone charger ever- its a frame, charger and clock in one. Pretty visually impressive and you'll never misplace your phone in the house again.

Apple don't make accessories for their products because Steve Jobs believed they didn't need any, like a keyboard for the iPad- that's why Logitech decided to specialise in these. And they're amazing pieces of tech. They've released a spill-proof model so that if you're like me, spilling coffee around your gadgets can be a safe, fun thing to do!

These are already sold out but I would have had this on the top of my Santa wish list as a kid. Looks like plenty of injuries will come out of this product. Fucking awesome. Apparently they're developing an XL version for adrenaline junkie adults so not all is lost!

Tell the world how passionate you are about being a geek a buy these Star Wars family decals. Want.

Does exactly what is says, no more sitting in the corner by the bin or lying down in an awkward angle just so you can see your Instagram notifications on that hilarious meme you stole from Reddit.

Nothing worse than a bunch of cables crisscrossed all over you desk- now you can keep your USB cables nice and organised.

Living in a cold country means if you even step outside to go for a walk your ears instantly fall off, I swear. Also if you decide you want to plug in and go for a run and your headphones keep falling off or your little ear phones keep popping out it could really put you off ever exercising. I'm really not one to exaggerate obviously so believe my excitement when I found these Run Phones online. Warm ears and music. Bliss.

Totes adorbs, not completely necessary in life but a perfect stocking filler for the geek in your life.

We all need one of these from Ottoman. Surround sound foot stool, mega trend for 2015.

Taking lounging to a whole new level with these USB heated slippers that plug into your chargers/Mac. I actually think I'll invest in a pair of these for the office.

Who says being from the dark side meant no light?

If you don't know what Mindcraft is then you don't deserve this backpack.

Possibly the biggest domestic must have for this year. Thermostats control half your electricity bill. Invest in one, no excuses.

The smallest one touch cappuccino machine. Because every techie needs to have a coffee addiction.

Possibly the best camera gadget I've ever heard of. Literally throw the Panono into the air and it takes a full 360 degree photo before you catch it again. Available on pre-order, hand eye coordination skills necessary.

It'll only set you back $50,000 but this is the very best of the best when it comes to projectors and is perfect for kitting out your slick start-up office that just got its third round of funding or your house you just bought from your company's acquisition money.

If your like me then your life revolves around food. Never overcook a steak again with this cooking gadget.

Perfect for the ultimate recluse in your life. Or just a gift to yourself cause you have no mates.

Bobble filters your tap water with its ingenious carbon filter. Each replaceable Bobble filter equates to 300 single-serve bottles. That saves a lot of plastic bottles. Saving the environment is a mega trend for 2015.

These are the new BEATS by Dre and apparently have a better life span too- plus BEATS used to be nerdy and are now too mainstream.

GoPro is just dominating how we capture life in 2014 in epic proportions. iPhone photos are just not enough when going on your holidays anymore.

Number 1 because this design hasn't changed in years and every kitchen has one. The Towel Hub is the best use of space in a kitchen I've seen in a long time. They also have a Lamp Hub coming soon. Genius and affordable.
