Woman In Serious Condition And Four Firefighters Injured After Waterford Blaze

A woman in her 20s is in a serious condition after a fire in Waterford at last night. 

Gardaí and emergency services were called to an apartment complex on Wellington Street at around 11pm. 

Four firefighters were also injured attempting to tackle the blaze but have all since been discharged from hospital. 

The woman was taken to Waterford University Hospital where she remains.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire.
