WATCH: Electric Picnic Has Made An Announcement About This Year’s Festival

It seems quite apt that Ireland's biggest music festival has made a major announcement on one of the wettest days since it shut its gates last September.

Earlier today, Electric Picnic took to Facebook today to make an announcement about the 2017 festival which is set to take place at Stradbally Hall, Laois in seven months time.

So there you have it, the first set of acts will be announced in just over six weeks.

Following such illustrious acts as Noel Gallagher and The High Flying Birds, LCD Soundsystem and The Chemical Brothers who appeared in 2016, who would you like to see take to the stage this year? Let us know in the comments.
