TripAdvisor has revealed the winners of its 2019 Travellers’ Choice Awards and an Irish property has made it into their Top 25 B&Bs and Inns in the world.
The annual awards take into account millions of reviews from users, broken up into several categories including best small hotels, best B&Bs and inns, and best luxury hotels.
Creevagh Heights in Carrowmore-Lacken, Co Mayo was the only Irish B&B to make it into the coveted Top 25 list.
The stunning B&B situated on the Wild Atlantic Way came in at number 9, while The 25 Boutique B&B in Torquay, UK was voted number one.
One of the top reviews on TripAdvisor describes Creevagh Heights as the “perfect place for fresh air, good food and relaxation”, while another said it was the “best place I’ve ever stayed”.
In fact, it actually doesn’t have a single bad review - 99% of visitors gave it the highest ‘excellent’ rating, while their lowest rating was ‘very good’, which is still the second highest option.
