This Spectacular Air Show Is Happening In The West Of Ireland This Weekend

Mayo is the place to be this weekend if you fancy something out of the ordinary.

The Westport Air Show is taking place in the town on Sunday. There'll be aerial demonstrations from classic and vintage aircraft including the Catalina Flying Boat, Irish Historic Flight Foundation plus the Breitling Wingwalkers, the world's only aerobatic formation wing-walking team - yikes!

There's plenty of fun on the ground too with a fun fair, food and craft markets, live music, street theatre and face painting.

Some visitors can even splash out and get a private helicopter ride from Westport House and over the Wild Atlantic Way.

If you are going, the advice is to leave yourself plenty of time to get there as they're expecting massive crowds.
