These Co. Laois And Co. Monaghan Towns Have Just Won Prestigious European Awards

This is well-deserved. 

The towns of Glaslough in Co. Monaghan and Abbeyleix in Co. Laois have both been honoured at the prestigious Entente Florale which took place in Slovenia. The awards are aimed at recognising towns for horticulture, tourism and the environment.

Glaslough was credited with a gold medal while Abbeyleix took silver. Both were commended for their cleanliness and community spirit. 

Glaslough In Monaghan is super pretty and well worth a visit...

Abbeyleix in Co. Laois couldn't be any prettier either...
