As over 200,000 people descended upon the fields of Somerset for Glastonbury last weekend, there was a little piece of home displayed proudly among the crowds to help Irish festival goers feel at ease.
For many, the most exciting thing about Glastonbury isn't the acts that take the Pyramid Stage or the afterparties in the woods, it's the creative genius that comes to life in the form of the massive flags seen flying above the crowds.

All great, obviously, but there's nothing quite like turning around and seeing the blue and yellow of Roscommon billowing in the south-west England breeze.

The flag was seen during a set by Guns & Roses on Saturday evening, at which point the Roscommon Herald issued a callout to find out who was flying it.
The wielder of the county colours has since gotten in touch with the publication and identified herself as Sarah Morahan from Ballinagare. She attended the festival with a friend from Galway and told the Roscommon Herald she was delighted her flag had been spotted among the thousands of people at the event.
