What. The. Actual.
Irish newspapers have always had a way of making us do a double-take at their sheer absurdity – and nowhere provides more of these WTF moments than the good people of The Kingdom.
But this one, from today's edition of The Kerryman, really takes the biscuit.
Concerning a 'holy well' that was removed 'without State approval', it splashes with an outraged quote from local politician who compared the council to... well, Isis.
Of course.

It's certainly one way to pop off the shelves... but really, let's hope that nobody from abroad sees this little slice of Irish life.
