Nestled in the Slieve Bloom mountains, this spot has amazing views of the River Shannon and some awesome forest trails. Although you'll feel like you're a million miles away from civilisation, this camping spot is a stone's throw from the village of Kinnitty - best of both worlds.

This is about as wild as gets. There's a bit of climb to get to this spot atop the Knockmealdown mountains, but so worth it for the views down to Blackwater valley. Make sure you wear the right gear as it can get pretty windy up there, but so worth it.

The epic view of Dingle Bay is the selling point for this spot. There's plenty of flat land to pitch your tent and a stream nearby which always comes in handy.

Patchwork fields, beaches and rugged coastline, this beaut is 200kms of of a camper's heaven. Home to both the Caha mountains and Slieve Miskish mountains, there's endless spots to explore on this stretch which is largely in Cork but reaches into Kerry also.
