Ireland's only commercial lavender farm has four acres of lavender, a beautiful café located in a converted stables, a gift shop, a playground, a quad barrel train ride, a wooden maze, a video distillery talk, woodland walks, outdoor snakes and ladders, plant sales, and plenty more to get involved in. Lavender has a lot of benefits; it relieves insect bites, calms you down, helps you sleep, wards off moths, and improves healing. If you've been looking to pick up some products, or just want to bask in the beauty of Ireland's largest lavender field, then you know where to go this summer. Now that summer is almost behind us (although with the heatwave it certainly doesn't feel that way) you can only visit the lavender field on weekends in September, between 10:30am to 5pm. Once October hits, the field will close until Easter 2024, so you only have a few weeks left to visit.
