The last remaining walled city in Ireland is some spot to go and visit.
There is plenty to do but more importantly, there are class places to eat. I was lucky enough to try out a few spots on a recent visit and there are plenty of options.
Here are my findings:
1) Pyke N Pommes
I don't know what to say. Unbelievable.
This little street food truck located on the quays is a must-visit.
They serve some of the nicest tacos I have ever tried in my life and you get to eat them on an old bus. I opted for the fish taco and the chicken one and wow.

2) The Sooty Olive
Now, here is a touch of class.
This fine-dining joint is not to be missed. Look at this pork belly and black pudding scotch egg - unreal.

3) Walled City Brewery
Something a little different as you head out to a brewery here.
Check out the different beers these guys make, but also enjoy some of their delicious food.

4) Primrose Cafe
Ideal for some breakfast or brunch.
With two locations to pick from, these stylish little cafés are a perfect place to start the day.

5) Shipquay
This boutique hotel is a great place to stay. It's located in the heart of the city and they also serve some fine food.
They also offer pre-theatre menus which are for a perfect date.
