EP attendee is reunited with her purse (and the cash inside) after festival

If you've been to Electric Picnic you'll know that once you've lost something there, you're best off accepting the fact that you'll never see it again and allowing it to be absolved into the Stradballian ether, where it will exist forever along with all the other lost items in harmony. However, this wasn't the case for EP attendee Jen Taaffe who was reunited not just with her purse, but the €60 cash inside it after losing it at the festival. A soothing balm for the aul post-festival fear that's hard to come by. Commenting under Garda Síochána Laois Offaly's annual "items found at Electric Picnic" post on Facebook, Jen shared a photo of her returned purse and wrote "Thanks so much to the extremely honest person who found my purse and to SVP Stradbally for reuniting us. I hope good karma is with you always".  Incidentally, if you came back from Electric Picnic short a personal item or two, it's worth throwing an eye over the aforementioned Facebook post. There's a plentiful array of abandoned phones, keys, makeup bags and passports, enough credit cards to open a new bank with and even a selection of age cards, which I had thought up until now were a relic of the early noughties. You could be reunited with your long-lost possessions yet! Lost items can be collected from St Vincent De Paul in Stradbally, open on Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm to 9pm and on Saturday and Sunday 11am-3pm. People are advised to call the shop before travelling to Stradbally to make sure their possessions are actually there.
