A Cork musician is blown away by the reaction to an outdoor performance last week.
Observing social distancing, talented singer Lorcan Geaney put on a show for the residents of an apartment block in Cork city which meant that nobody had to leave their homes.
Lorcan serenaded his neighbours with a number of toe-tapping hits including The Dance and Sweet Caroline, and of course the crowd couldn't help but join in.
The
footage has been shared wide and far since first appearing on the internet last week and even Neil Diamond is a fan as he shared one video of Lorcan in action.

Lorcan told Lovin.ie: "It came about when a musician buddy of mine was asked would he be up for a little concert in the Elysian's courtyard but he was busy so offered it up to me and I jumped at it. I didn’t think it would end but being the type of gig it was.
"Neil Diamond retweeting it was just the cherry on top. I was blown away by how well it was received."
